Industrial Design Intern

Open from January to July 2027

Mission
Turn concepts into buildable products. You own the product files, from first CAD to production-ready drawings.

Responsibilities

•Develop concepts from sketches and briefs into 3D models.
• Build CAD models in SolidWorks and Rhino, following studio file conventions.
•Produce renders in KeyShot for client presentations.
•Prepare technical drawings and production files for manufacturers.
•Build and test prototypes, including 3D prints.
•Document design decisions so any teammate can pick up the file.

Must have

• Final-year student in industrial or product design.
• CAD skills at a working level.
• A portfolio showing at least one product taken from concept to physical model.

Nice to have

•KeyShot or Blender rendering.
•3D printing or workshop experience.
•Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection moulding, sheet metal).
•Vizcom or other AI-assisted ideation tools.


Graphic & Brand Design Intern

Open from September 2026 to March 2027

Mission
Own how things look. You keep the visual system consistent across studio clients and BRiN.

Responsibilities

•Design brand identity elements within existing strategies.
• Create illustrations for brands, packaging and campaigns.
•Design packaging graphics.
•Produce presentation decks for pitches and client reviews.
•Deliver visual assets for BRiN campaigns.
•Provide visual design for digital projects, following the UX/UI team's structure.

Must have

• Final-year student in graphic design, visual communication or illustration.
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, or equivalent.
• A portfolio with at least one identity or packaging project, plus illustration work.

Nice to have

•Figma
•Motion basics (After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
•Print production knowledge.


UX/UI & Digital Design Intern

Open from March to September 2027

Mission
Own how things work. You design digital experiences for BRiN and studio clients, from flow to launch.

Responsibilities

• Map user journeys and site architecture.
• Design wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma.
•Design responsive layouts for web and mobile.
•Build and improve BRiN's Shopify store and landing pages.
•Run simple conversion tests and report the results.
•Support email flows in Klaviyo.
• Contribute UX and UI to studio client web projects.

Must have

• Final-year student in UX/UI, interaction design or digital design.
• Figma at a working level.
• Responsive design and solid UX basics.
• A portfolio with at least one case study showing the full process: problem, research, wireframes, decisions, outcome. Screens alone are not enough.

Nice to have

•Shopify or Squarespace experience
•Basic HTML and CSS.
•Design systems knowledge.


Business Development Intern

Open from October 2026

Mission
Run prospecting operations for the studio and BRiN wholesale. You build the pipeline inputs. François handles studio meetings and closing.

Responsibilities

• Research and qualify leads for the studio (SMEs, startups, corporate innovation teams).
• Keep the CRM complete and up to date.
•Prepare outreach sequences and run follow-ups on time.
•Build a database of BRiN wholesale targets: retailers, hotels, dental practices, corporate gifting.
•Send BRiN samples and follow up.
•Turn finished projects into case studies with the design team.
• Plan Social Media content

Must have

• Final-year student in business, marketing or communications.
• Clear written English.
• Organised, comfortable with spreadsheets or a CRM.

Nice to have

•Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
•Interest in design, sustainability or consumer brands.
•Experience in sales, events or student associations.

You will learn
Klaviyo, Shopify operations, web analytics.
