Inspiration
A familiar shape
In 1884, Joseph Hicks was granted the patent for Clinical Thermometer using mercury to display the temperature level. The mercury reservoir and the vertical shape will become a global visual symbol.
A playful object
A gömböc or gomboc is a convex three-dimensional homogeneous body which, when resting on a flat surface, has just one stable and one unstable point of equilibrium.
A versatile usage
A hook-lookalike system will allow the user to hang or suspend the sensor in the desired location.
