EVA
EVA is a unique piece of aquaponics furniture that not only serves as a beautiful addition to any indoor space but also functions as an artificial ecosystem.
By converting fish waste into a source of nutrients, EVA allows for the growth of fresh vegetables and herbs that are always accessible for use.
EVA can house decorative plants such as Chinese evergreens, spider plants, and butterfly plants, adding vibrancy to its surroundings.
The Science
Eva mimics a virtuous cycle found in nature. The fish waste, in the form of ammonia, is pumped up to the garden where plant roots convert it into nitrates and nitrites. This nutrient-rich water then returns to the fish as a food source, while also fertilizing the plants.
This method, known as aquaponics, has been used since ancient times, with the earliest record dating back to 1,000 A.D. when the Aztecs raised plants on rafts over a lake. Now, Eva offers an innovative indoor aquaponics solution for growing fresh vegetables from fish waste.
Designed for Hobbysits
Eva finds its place in restaurants, hotels, schools or offices. It is a guarantee of fresh food, a place of gathering and a light source full of life.
Easy Peasy Assembly
EVA was designed so that the different parts simply dovetail with one another and let gravity do the work, no tools are required.
