The Mendel Project is a tribute to Gregor Mendel, a provincial monk who discovered the gene while experimenting on thousands of peas. The project aims at celebrating the hidden beauty of nature. We photographed sections of different plant stems and magnified them into a metallic solid artifact.

This series consists of a metal frame featuring an Orchid Flower, a Yew Tree and a Pine Tree.
