French designer François Hurtaud launches a collection of premium leather lifestyle accessories for Caddyboo

French designer and creative lead François Hurtaud launches Caddyboo, premium leather lifestyle accessories to complement the brand’s golf marker.

Hong Kong, [March 2, 2023] – Hong Kong-based designer François Hurtaud has launched Caddyboo accessories, a collection of premium leather lifestyle essentials to complement the brand’s golf marker.

Designed by Hurtaud to streamline contemporary silhouettes, Caddyboo accessories have been crafted as a contemporary response to our rapidly progressing technological age. Taken either individually as products or collectively as a whole, the accessories pare down our everyday elements to their core essentials: keychain, cardholder, AirTag and golf marker holders.

“The collection reflects its true value in the quality of use,” said Caddyboo creative lead, François Hurtaud. “Each accessory is reliable and long-lasting.”

Five products have been launched in Caddyboo’s initial accessories collection: Bag Charm Mini, a wearable accessory to hold Caddyboo golf markers, as well as coins and other items; Bag Charm AirTag, an attachable case to hold an AirTag; Tag, a double-sided accessory to hold golf markers; Card Holder, a slender wallet made for cards and notes; and Marker Holder, a clip-style case for golf markers.

Accessories are crafted from sustainable leather sourced in Italy, with each product supplemented by distinctive stainless steel or golf-plated attachments, including key rings, buttons as well as decorative elements.

“The simplest object should be of the finest quality,” said Hurtaud. “When working with organic material like leather, iterations are the key to getting a feel of how the material behaves while being used daily.”

Accessories are available in five tanned-leather colours – black, brandy, ruby, sapphire and emerald – for effortless pairing with individual styles. Packaging has also been homogeneously constructed to be as universal as possible for all collection products, with individual interior cases shaped to each accessory.

Caddyboo accessories are principally designed to complement the brand’s line of golf-related products, with individual accessories specifically made to mount its golf markers. Beyond that function though, Caddyboo’s new collection reflects the brand and Hurtaud’s visions to craft products with purpose – accessories at once sleek and practical.
