Journée de l’Innovation Franco-Malaisienne
The "Franco-Malaysian Innovation Day" is an annual event organized by the French Embassy in Malaysia. It follows a first edition held in May 2024. The 2025 edition, themed "Navigating the Edge of Technology," will take place alongside the Global Alumni Day.
The goal was to symbolize the France–Malaysia connection in a clear but stylized way, referencing innovation and technology without appearing outdated or overly technical. It was also about establishing the "Franco-Malaysian Innovation Day" as a recurring and recognized event.

Logotype
The logo for the Franco-Malaysian Innovation Day represents a fusion of culture and technology. It draws inspiration from the traditional batik pattern, reimagined as printed circuits to form a modern monogram rooted in both Malaysian craftsmanship and technological innovation.
The lines interlace like a weave, symbolizing the ties between France and Malaysia and their collaboration in tech and research.
he monogram is paired with a geometric sans-serif typeface, Satoshi, chosen for its nod to coders as well as its readability, precision, and modern character.
Set over three lines to emphasize the title’s hierarchy, the layout mirrors the structure of the event while remaining clear and confident. The typographic block complements the emblem, creating an identity that’s both functional and symbolic.
