Ping Pong is a wireless cooking assistant that allows you to optimize your time whilst food is being heated. Sensors (the ‘Pings’) are attached to the cooking utensils in use. For instance, if you’re cooking a soup, place the Ping transmitter on the pan’s rim and take the Pong receiver with you to the next room. The Ping transmitter will send information on the cooking status to the Pong receiver close to you and so keeping you informed. The design is inspired by a vase full of flowers ensuring your new kitchen assistant looks good and puts a smile on your face.
Garden cultivation in cities is a real challenge for people living in apartments due to the shrinking living space. NIDA offers the opportunity to the modern urban society to grow their own gardens by utilizing public spaces designed for this purpose. Residents who want to grow their own gardens can borrow or rent a plot to the town. This new approach of garden cultivation in cities will benefit both the users, public pedestrians and the environment of the area. These urban gardeners will discover a new way of gardening, as having their personal gardens in public area is very uncommon. This is also a beautiful way to enhance public furniture with greeneries while the residents grow their own food. NIDA combines both functions and beauty; the recreation of agricultural activities while decorating the urban landscape.
The WarmNCool is designed for the convenient storing and heating of food. Divided in to two sections, the bottom container of the WarmNCool works just like a fridge by keeping left overs from dinner cool in an airtight. Simultaneously, the top section stores the heat generated from the thermo-reaction of the refrigeration system. Next day, when you want to eat your leftover food, the containers are switched and the thermo-electric batteries act like a microwave that then heats the food as required. WarnNCool comes in several different colors and is of a size and weight that makes it easily transportable from home to the office and beyond.
Whether the air conditioner is being used to heat or cool a place, the internal system produces a large amount of water due to condensation. All the air-conditioners on the market resolve this excess water by draining or evaporating it into the air. The idea is to avoid wasting this water, but to collect it and reuse it to grow grass horizontally. A LED light located behind the frontrale window both indirectly illuminates the grass and creates mood lighting for dark spaces.

Because childhood is a time full of experiences and changes, kids need to develop their own space according to their personality and nature. “Yoodoo” is a micro archi- tecture consisting of a set of easy to use modules that one or several kids can assemble. They strip the modules the same way they would strip the Velcro from their shoes! In that funny way, they enjoy building various areas such as a playground, a working space or any other creative areas. “Yoodoo” is made of highly recy- clable materials; the structure is composed of bamboo and is bloc- ked by five layer cardboard sheets.

Standing outside and looking at the global market of chargers, a user has a maze of choice, from housings to different country plugs, to alternative outputs for devices etc…
We took a step back to merge these different form factors into a single product.
By collecting technical regulations from America, Europe, Asia and Australia, it directed us to combine global regulations to mathematically retain what is mandatory in these certifications throughout the development process.
This being considered it naturally guided us to an optimized housing for the integration of multiple configurations.
This is then twinned with consumer demands for multiple power requirements.
We minimalized internal electronics without compromising both efficiency or cost, leading us to achieve a range of 1.0A to 3.2A.
To that we integrated a modular output selection giving the flexibility at production to cater for 56 ranged outputs dictated by a customer’s requirements.
We present “Barium”, chosen as its atomic number represents 56. It is possibly the only charger on the market capable of fulfilling tough worldwide certifications while assuring safety, efficiency and extensive configuration flexibility.
